City Prepares Art Performances Schedule at GKJ and TIM

I want this to be realized

The Jakarta administration is about to schedule art performances at the Jakarta Arts Building (GKJ) and Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), which aims to realize input from Indonesian musicians.

Jakarta Culture and Tourism Deputy Governor, Marullah Matali assessed that the input regarding the show schedule was very good, as it could make it easier for domestic and foreign tourists who want to enjoy art and cultural performances.

"I want this to be realized. I'm sure many tourists will be helped by the schedule of this show later," he expressed, at GKJ, Friday (1/20).

Jakarta Culture Agency (Disbud) Head, Iwan Henry Wardhana revealed that his agency would schedule an art performance following the 2023 ASEAN Summit in Jakarta.

This event was deemed one of the appropriate moments to attract tourists to visit art centers in the capital.

"It can also provide space for guests to enjoy Jakarta's artistic and cultural atmosphere," he uttered.

He added that his staff would engage all relevant elements to create a show schedule that accommodated traditional and contemporary music, theater, and other arts.

"At GKJ, it is clear that we will make it but we involve all parties. So, the performances are not only at GKJ but spread to other facilities," he stated.
